The Business
Floorless Restoration is a specialist stone care company based on Hayling Island, Hampshire. Thomas has been working with natural stone for over 20 years, covering everything from marble hallways and limestone kitchen floors to granite worktops and terrazzo surfaces.
The focus has always been on doing the job properly. That means using the right products for each specific stone type, taking the time to assess each surface carefully before starting, and being honest with clients about what can and can't be achieved.
We use dust-free, water-based systems wherever possible to minimise disruption to your home. Every job is finished to the same high standard, whether it's a single worktop or an entire property floor.
Every job starts with a free property survey. No charge, no obligation. Thomas visits, looks at the surface and gives you a straight answer on what the work involves and what it will cost. If the result isn't going to be a significant improvement, we'll tell you that upfront.

Every stone type behaves differently. Marble reacts to acid, limestone needs careful pressure control, granite requires specific abrasives. We use the right products and techniques for each surface, and work with dust-free, water-based systems to protect your home throughout.
We don't quote over the phone. Thomas visits your property, looks at the stone and tells you exactly what we'd recommend before any money changes hands. No hard sell. No upselling. If we can't make a meaningful improvement, we'll tell you that clearly and save you the money.
Because we treat the surface properly and seal it correctly with the right products, the results hold. You're not paying for something that looks good for a few months and then reverts. With the correct aftercare, a properly restored and sealed floor stays in good condition for years.
We only take on work we're confident we can improve significantly. If a surface is beyond restoration, or if the cost of the work outweighs the benefit, we'll tell you. We'd rather lose a job than disappoint a customer or take money for a result that doesn't justify it.
We treat your home with the same care as we treat the stone. Our equipment is self-contained and we leave every job site clean and tidy. You'll be shown the finished result before we leave and given clear advice on how to maintain it.
